World Golf Village opened in 1998 and its neighborhoods filled in through the 2000s and 2010s — King & Bear and the Cascades first, Murabella and the newer sections later. Most homes here are between 10 and 25 years old, which puts the community squarely in its first big replacement cycle:
Builder-installed AC systems at the end of their life
A system installed with the house in 2003 or 2010 is now 15–23 years old — well past the 12–15 years builder-grade equipment usually lasts in Florida. Why is my upstairs so much hotter than downstairs?
Most two-story World Golf Village homes have one system with the air handler in the attic, so the second floor runs warm in summer. A zoning system, a second thermostat, duct balancing or a ductless unit for the bonus room are the usual fixes — we will tell you which one your house actually needs.

How long do AC systems last in World Golf Village?
Florida’s near-year-round runtime shortens AC life to roughly 12–15 years, and builder-grade equipment often less. If your system was installed with the house between 2000 and 2014, you are in the window where repair-versus-replace becomes a real decision. We quote both.
